From bringing babies home for the first time to chalk drawings on the front walk, learning to ride a bike, or baking holiday cookies—home is where life’s best moments unfold, and that’s pretty special.

So, when my dear friend asked me to travel to San Diego to capture his adorable family in their cozy home, my answer was an enthusiastic “HECK YEAH!” We spent the morning making and devouring pancakes, dancing around, jumping on beds, and swinging in chairs. It was absolutely perfect.
