Jennifer Lawrence | Film Photographer, Mentor, Destination Photographer
Hey there! If you’ve been searching for a photographer to capture vibrant, happiness-filled moments, you’re in the right place! Based in Chicago, I’ve spent the past 12 years traveling the globe to document the joy of couples, families, seniors, and weddings.
A few fun facts about me:
Globetrotter at Heart: I’m all about travel – both for exploring new places/trying new things and for capturing those unforgettable moments with my incredible clients. From jumping off a cliff into the ocean in Maui to capturing a family on the charming streets of Stockholm, I’ve traveled far and wide for family sessions and events, capturing candid happiness everywhere in between.
Color Extraordinaire: Vibrant colors, blooming flowers, and playful patterns are my passion. If it’s bright and cheerful, count me in!
Film Photography Magic: I adore film for its unmatched color, grain, and unique process. Shooting on film allows me to explore creative techniques like double exposures and film soup, adding a colorful and distinctive touch to my sessions and workshops. It’s all about infusing fun and happiness into every shot.
Photography Mentor: I’ve hosted 9 fantastic film photography workshops across the US and England, collaborating with amazing co-hosts. Teaching at the Hybrid Co. photography conference 3 times has been a true joy, where I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my passion with fellow photographers and making new friends! I also do 1:1 mentoring online with photographers all over the world. If you want to learn more about film photography, I would love to work with you!
When I’m not photographing, you’ll find me planning my next workshop or dreaming up new ways to capture those candid, joyful moments that make life so special. My approach is all about creativity and ensuring your unique story shines through.
If you’re looking for photos filled with life, love, and laughter, let’s chat! I’d LOVE to help you create beautiful memories. Shoot me a message, and let’s make magic happen!
