Brighton, England
I had the incredible opportunity to co-host our very first Film Photography Workshop, Hello Happy, with Ashley Crawford. It was an unforgettable experience in Brighton, England, where we were honored to be sponsored by the incredible Kodak Professional Film and The Find Lab.
One of the workshop highlights for me was teaching fellow photographers how I approach lifestyle family sessions. I shared insights on what I look for in a home during the shoot, how to utilize light (or sometimes the lack thereof) in indoor sessions, and how to create beautiful, joyful moments for my families. Working with the sweetest family as our models was an absolute joy, and the images captured their love and warmth in their homes beautifully.
While these photos offer just a glimpse of my approach to family photography, they hold a special place in my heart. They remind me of why I love capturing families in their element—where they feel most comfortable and happy.
Looking ahead, I can’t wait to return to Europe to photograph more families in their gorgeous homes, capturing their unique stories and cherished moments.
